Child profiles: display name and age range (set by the parent). No email or identifying data is collected from children.
Usage data: reading progress, quiz scores, and anonymised analytics to improve the platform.
4. How We Use Information
We use collected information to provide and improve the service, process payments, send progress reports to parents, and ensure platform safety. We never sell personal data to third parties.
5. Data Storage & Security
Data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest and in transit. Payments are handled by Stripe. We follow industry-standard security practices including HTTPS everywhere, strict CSP headers, and regular security audits.
6. Third-Party Services
We use Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting and CDN, Supabase for database and authentication, and Resend for transactional emails. Each provider maintains their own privacy policies.
7. Parental Rights
Parents may review, update, or delete their child's information at any time through the parent dashboard, or by contacting us at privacy@sciencecomics.com. Upon request, we will delete all data associated with a child profile within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
